Where and how you work?

Maybe the serendipitous meetings around the coffee machine just haven’t kicked in yet? Joking aside, click bait headline but this is the key part for me:

“Lovich…says the report doesn’t yet show that flexible policies cause higher revenue growth. Rather, she says flexible policies are one likely “symptom” of a culture that trusts workers, has other employee-friendly benefits and values forward-thinking strategies, technology and ideas”

Nail on the head for me. Twenty years working with geographically remote teams, so I never understood the debate and felt it always missed the point. Trust the people you hired to get the job done. Tackle it individually if they’re not. Treat them like the adults they are, support them as a Leader and you can move proverbial mountains.

(It’s never about office or remote, its culture. When you boil it down to one or the other you make a clear statement on your culture)
