Delta CEO speaks
I don’t like watching video, I prefer reading.
But somebody recommended watching this. Delta Airlines CEO Ed Bastian talking about Microsoft and CrowdStrike. Yes, the commentary has been done to death at this stage. But everybody in Technology should listen to this. This is a MAJOR customer who’s had enough. Sure there’s recent issue passion in the mix, I’d be mad, but this is a build up. He alludes to it.

Straw that broke the camels back situation. There’s too much tunnel vision in the industry. Growth and valuation at all cost. He’s speaks of that. Of course add ‘Chase the next cool thing’ to that now.
Customer satisfaction? Wrap it up in ‘Shared responsibility’. Customer needs? Oh we’ll let them know what that is. Because we know better, which is why we’ll spend 70% of our funding on a domain name kind of thing
Or even saying out loud that you think a subscription fee for a mouse might be a good idea
Things have to change I think. More focus on the customer success folk than the mad product crowd.
