Brainstorming BCP and DR

Earlier this week I was brainstorming BCP/DR tabletop scenarios that needed to be based on reality. With decentralised SaaS, AWS, Azure or Google, backups and a remote capable workforce - it’s not so easy to come up with something sensible and credible that has a large impact (which is a good thing). The discussion excluded security specific as that’s a different chat. Even the old favourite of offices going down isn’t as easy anymore because, well, pandemic. People can cope, everybody did.

I read the below and laughed because I remember saying “Maybe Atlassian?” but that’s also all backed by AWS now.

Still good to have these conversations though. And good that’s it’s not so easy - makes you dig deeper into your ecosystem and think ‘What if?’
